The 8th "Culture and Computer Science" conference focuses on the challenges and prospects of multimedia-based interactive systems in the Cultural and Creative Industries. Research and development approaches concerning the interaction in Museum- and City Information Systems, multimedia-based exhibition concepts, portals for museums and computer games will be discussed. Keynotespeaker

We are pleased to announce Prof. Dr. Gary Marsden of the University of Cape Town, South Africa as a keynote speaker of the conference on the topic "Keeping Stories Alive – Providing a Digital Voice for Storytellers in Africa". A second keynote presentation on "Multimodal Interaction" will be given by Prof. Dr. Elisabeth André of Universität Augsburg University.
